WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT

“A source of inspiration, creativity, strength. Connection to the most significant element, quality or thing or person - the essence…of yourself.”

Taproot Retreat, a day honoring women’s health and wellbeing, will help you feel grounded. Our roots help define us, from where and whom and what traditions we originate, and shape our identities. Through a series of gentle experiences, this retreat is designed to ground, nurture and help you be present with yourself in the moment, right where you’re at.

Nature is an essential element of the day. You will experience earthing/grounding, sound healing, aromatherapy yoga, a simple and meditative creative experience (no art skills required!), and nature connection and forest therapy (aka, “forest bathing”).

These connection experiences flow from one into the another, joining the day together, deepening your relationship with and nurturing of yourself, and coming full circle, reflecting on the day’s journey and noticings. You may dive deep, or simply bask in this opportunity for self-care and quietude. Your facilitators are kind and supportive, and experts in their fields.

After making much ado about something, stay for “Much Ado About Nothing,” at 6pm in the theater up the hill. You will receive a discount code and directions for buying tickets for plays that day, or you can use it for another play on a different day! Register asap so you can be sure to get a seat for the evening's performance!
